| One of the finest new parks built since 1990 - unfortunately it is only used for one month a year during spring training. It is not used by a minor league team during the summer. As the name would indicate, there are numerous palm trees surrounding the park. They line the outfield fence making for a very attractive backdrop. The stadium itself feature a partially covered grandstand where approximately 2/3 of the seats have a roof overhead. The seating area is split by a small concourse area. Additional seating is available on the right field berm, in the right field bleachers, and behind the right field fence in seats that are reminiscent of the Green Monster seats at Fenway. The main concourse area is located under the seating and has both parts that are covered and uncovered. The concourse features numerous concession stands as well as a nice gift shop. But come with your wallet as the the Red Sox really seem to being taken advantage of team's recent success. Bottled water will run you $4.75 and most of the rest of the concessions are overrpriced and underwhelming in quality. Still, if you're a Red Sox fan, this is the place to be in March. Just a really nice park to take in a spring training game. Unfortunately, despite the park still being in great shape, the Red Sox demanded a new spring complex, and Fort Myers obliged with the building of Jet Blue Park, set to open in the spring of 2012.
