Goldstein Field was used for just one year to host professional baseball. It was home to Fort Worth Cats of the All American Association in 2001. The Cats were then scooped up by the Central League in 2002 and moved into restored LaGrave Field. Located on the grounds of a community college, Goldstein Field is a very typical college ballpark. Apparently there were also additional bleachers that were located down the lines when the Cats played here. Certainly Goldstein Field was not built with pro baseball in mind, but was adequate enough for the one year the Cats called it home.
