| The baseball field used in the 1989 film Field of Dreams still sits in the middle of an Iowa cornfield. Because of the popularity of the movie, it has become quite a tourist attraction. Hundreds of fans visit the site on a daily basis during the summer months. Visitors are allowed to bring their gloves and bats and play on the field. Two competing gift shops are also located on the premises. While the Field of Dreams site is a bit off the beaten path, it is worth a visit if you're passing through Iowa.
