| Greenville lays claim to being the hometown of Shoeless Joe Jackson and seems to take great pride in it despite the fact that he was banned from baseball following the 1920 season. This plaza and life-size statue, just south of the downtown, was dedicated in 2002. It is located just a couple blocks from West End Field. |
