Lancaster, Pennsylvania |

Stumpf Field was last home to professional baseball from 1958-61 when the Lancaster Red Roses of the Eastern League played here. Parts of the original grandstand still exist, though the field is now used only for softball. A regulation baseball field was constructed adjacent to the original Stumpf Field. It is hard to imagine AA baseball being played here, though it is no worse than some of the facilities which were used as late as the 1980's. |
