Flaherty Field is just a small community ballpark now, but back in the late 1940's and early 1950's it did host professional baseball. Three different teams (the Nats, Chiefs, and Indians) all played here as part of the Mid-Atlantic League. While it is not clear if there was more to the grandstand than what exists now, it certainly would appear that the light poles are original to the park. The old style light stanchions make this a ballpark worth checking out. Amazingly, professional baseball almost returned here in 1997 as the independent North Atlantic League was set to put a team here before the entire circuit folded.
