| Having never seen a game
at Candlestick Park (now called Monster Park), I can't give much of an assessment. I took a few photos from
the outside on a visit here in 2000. The park is easily accessible from
Rt 101 and has plenty of parking surrounding it. It is situated near the
bay, but the location is really not very scenic. The park is located on
the outskirts of San Francisco in the southern part of the city. So I'm
sure the Giants were happy to move northward closer to the heart of the
city, and into beautiful new Pacific Bell Park.
