| I was rained out in 1994 in my only attempt to see a game at Community Park. And now St. Catherines is without a team after the Stompers relocated to Brooklyn for the 2000 season. The town seems interested in a attracting another team (probably independent), but based on past attendance figure, this would seem like a tougher task. Besides the poor attendance, Community Park simply does not match most other parks - in either affiliated or independent baseball. The park is only slightly better than a high school field. The grandstand is made up mostly of bleacher seating and provides no cover for the fans. The concourse area is located behind the grandstand. It is hard to envision another team playing in St. Catherines due to its past history and below average facility.
