Henley Field was used both for Spring Training and by the Florida State League before Joker Marchant Stadium was built. And in both 2002 and 2016, it was used as a temporary home for the Lakeland Tigers while Joker Marchant was being renovated. This is a cute little ballpark that seems to have been well maintained over the years. Metal bleachers under the grandstand take away some of the charm as they obviously aren't part of the original ballpark. Currently, Henley Field still gets used by college and high school baseball. If you're in the area, this is a park definitely worth checking out.
