I attended a game here in 1993, one of the final years that McDonough Park was used for minor league baseball. Though it is still used for a college league team, there is no chance that this facility could ever host affiliated baseball again. It features a small covered grandstand behind homeplate that is very similar to the one Batavia had before they rebuilt. Down both lines are simple wooden bleacher structures. The concourse area is behind the grandstand and bleachers. As you can see from the photo above, the setting was nothing special. Just trees lined the outfield fence. McDonough Park is a great example of a park that was sufficient for minor league baseball just a decade and a half ago.
