As you can see from the above photos, Pullman Park had been neglected for the several years when I stopped by here in 2006. Despite this, the city earmarked $6 million in renovations for the park and built a replacement from the ground up on the same property in 2008. Starting in 2009, a collegiate team in the Prospect League started play here. The old Pullman Park does have a rich baseball history as it hosted farm clubs of the Yankees, Tigers, and Indians in the 1940's and 50's. I have not seen the new park, but will try to stop by the next time I'm in the area.
