Located on the campus of Montana Tech University, Alumni Coliseum was home to a Pioneer League team every year from 1978-2000. While not a great facility, it certainly looks to have been suitable for the Pioneer League, which still has mostly older ballparks. Set on the one highest points in Butte, the view of the mountains from the ballpark is pretty spectacular. Alumni Coliseum also doubles as a football stadium. Unfortunately, in 2012 the decision was made to demolish this park since Montana Tech no longer has baseball and artificial turf was being installed at the adjacent football field.
