While driving through South Carolina in 1997, I decided to stop and see the ballpark in Columbia. I probably shouldn't have wasted my time. The park was difficult to find, and then once I did find it, it was completely locked up. So I couldn't get inside to take any photos. From what I could see, this doesn't look to be that special of a ballpark anyhow. It is certainly not a place I will go out of my way to see a game at. As of 2005, professional baseball was no longer being played here as the SAL team moved to Greenville. After an 11 year absence, professional baseball did return to Columbia in 2016 with the opening of Spirit Communications Park.
