Taylor Stadium is located on the campus of the University of Missouri. The park was originally built for the Missouri baseball team, which explains all the Tiger logos displayed throughout the park. And the ballpark really feels more like a college park than a minor league park. The seating is steep and set high above the field. The concourse area runs behind the grandstand and is out of view from the field. The Mid-Mo Mavericks played here for three seasons, but did not draw well so decided to sit out the '06 season while trying to get a new ballpark built in Columbia. So it's unlikely that Taylor Stadium will ever see pro baseball again.
