J. Fred Johnson Stadium was home to an Appalachian League team until 1995 when the new Hunter Wright Stadium was built. It is located on the grounds of Dobyns-Bennett High School and apparently still gets plenty of use by both the baseball and football teams. Unfortunately, I was unable to get inside to snap any other photos. But from what I've heard, it was not a great place to watch a game.
