Highland Park Stadium was the home to a Midwest League team from 1955-61. But the ballpark that is here now was rebuilt in 1985, so I'm not sure what the original one looked like. It is located in a large city park with neighborhood houses providing the outfield backdrop. From the looks of the field, it still appears to get plenty of use and is in fine shape. If anyone has information or photos of the original Highland Park Stadium, I'd appreciated hearing from them.
