Located in a densely populated suburb of Los Angeles, it is easy to see why the Epicenter (as it was originally called) is usually the league leader in attendance. The setting is beautiful and the facility is immaculate. You would hardly know that it was built in the early 1990's. It doesn't follow the typical new ballpark template, as the concourse runs behind the grandstand as in Lexington and Rome. This is actually refreshing to see, even though I generally don't like this design as well. The Epicenter is part of a larger sports complex that also contains three softball fields and two soccer fields. I was not able to see a game here when I stopped by in 2008, but hope to get back for one someday in the future.
