Beyer Stadium was home to the Rockford Peaches of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League from 1943-1954. All that remains of the original park is the ticket booth. Apparently the park was decaying in the 1990's so was torn down. There has been talk of trying to put a baseball field here again, but so far there are no definitive plans.
