Watertown Stadium last played host to professional baseball in 1971 when they were home to the Northern League's Watertown Expos. Despite this, the park still appears to be in pretty decent shape. The concrete grandstand is similar to that of Breese Stevens Field in Madison where it's curved (and covered) behind home plate and then straightens out as it runs along the left field line. This is so it can be used for both baseball and football. All seating is metal benches that appear to be relatively new. Also, the field was apparently rebuilt in 2005. Watertown Stadium probably won't ever see professional baseball again, but it serves just fine as an amateur facility.
