| The Houston Sports Hall of Fame was located in the basement of the Finger Furniture store, which was where Buff Stadium once stood. It featured a nice array of sports memorabilia, mostly related to the history of baseball in Houston. There was no sign outside indicating that there is a museum inside, so it was pretty hard to just stumble upon. Unfortunately, the store closed in 2012. At that time, the artifacts from the museum were supposed to be moved to the other Finger Furnture locations. However, those closed in 2014, so it is not clear what happened to all the artifacts.
